The Perfect General

Internet Edition

The Perfect General Internet Edition is the revival of the classic abstract game of strategy on a tactical level with tanks and artillery. This game is turn based, with the ability to challenge either human or computer opponents.

The "Attacker" buys units in preparation for placement

Players spend "buy points" to purchase units such as tanks, artillery and infantry, place them on a map, and try to capture and hold strategic areas.

The "Attacker" determines the layout of his forces

The game plays in a series of turns, with each turn having different planning, fire and movement phases.

Artillery Fire Falling Upon Desperate Units

Opponents are able to match wits against a computer general or another player. To truly test you against your opponent, The Perfect General Internet Edition is played in matches, where you have a chance to prove your mettle on both sides of the battlefield.

A General determines who should be shot

In each turn during the game, there are fire phases and a movement phase, (with opportunity fire during your opponents movement phase).

Games generally are 8 to 16 turns long, and then the players switch sides. The scenarios are not always balanced, but the changing of sides evens the score. The winner is often the one who can play the game better when at a disadvantage.

Records of the Battle are kept long after the bruised ego healed

The Perfect General Internet Edition is also IP capable, and you can play human opponents over the Internet.
