Some of these features might be wothwhile to consider:
- I'd like roads to become a bit more part of the landscape. Instead of a wide bright line I'd prefer a thin, tarmac grey one that is an integral part of the tiles it is running through. It would look a bit more realistic and would be less obtrusive when the AI builds huge road networks
- In addition to roads, bunkers, tunnels and trenches would be nice. I'd like to have my engineers build tunnels below mountain ranges, or bunkers in cities that would enable defenders to survive bombardment. Trenches would make it possible to have WW I style battles. Etc., etc.
- A more elaborate economy, with more resources. Having a stock of each could give you some advantage, such as units with greater endurance.
- Special units that you can only build when you have collected/mined the resources for them. Some of these units could be especially resilient fortifications.
-Cities and certain units (especially capital vessels) that are larger than a single tile
I'll better stop here before I end up asking for the moon, too. |
