Hi All,
I have installed ReactOS trunk build 45417 on a Micron PII with 256MB of ram with PS/2 mouse and keyboard (USB is a work in progress). It boots to desktop.
I have also successfully Installed the EDIE demo. It plays without the problems I described last year. (Haven't tried sound but it too is a work in progress). Runs a bit slow, but it works.
I tried to install the EDEE demo. It failed at the end of the install and attempting to run the executable causes a Properties msgbox error. (but I didn't think it would even install.)
The ReactOS people are attempting to use WINE win32 until theirs is ready so they can be 95% compatible with NT and maybe go to Beta sooner rather than later.
Unfortunately, the Wine version does not boot on my test hardware yet?
but even their buggy and incomplete win32 runs EDIE.
Can't wait for a free NT.
